Azerbaijan Introduces New Regulations for Arbitration Services

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed into law amendments to several official documents regarding arbitration, including updated procedures and service fees for arbitration processes in “Law on State Duty“.
The legislation outlines specific fees for various arbitration-related services to enhance clarity and procedural efficiency. These include:
• 100 manat (approx. EUR 57,41) for filing requests to perform auxiliary functions related to arbitration.
• 50 manat (approx. EUR 28,71) for submitting requests to recognize and enforce arbitration court decisions on temporary measures.
• 100 manat (approx. EUR 57,41) for filing requests to annul arbitration court decisions.
• 50 manat (approx. EUR 28,71) for submitting requests to ensure the compulsory execution of local arbitration court decisions.
• 100 manat (approx. EUR 57,41) for filing requests to recognize and enforce foreign arbitration court decisions.
This legislative update aims to streamline arbitration practices, providing a structured fee framework that supports the effective implementation of arbitration decisions.
